Our affiliate system

We are building one organization with affiliates in two regions. Our parent company, now known as Prisma Health, supports both affiliates with overall direction and leadership as we continue to align. We will soon share one brand across the entire organization to better reflect this. The rebranded Palmetto Health-USC Medical Group will continue to operate as a joint venture between the Midlands affiliate and the USC School of Medicine.

CAMP KEMO

A cherished program for young patients and their siblings since 1980

Our most recognized program at the Children’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital is CAMP KEMO, a weeklong summer camp for patients ages 5–18 with cancer and their siblings.

Next camping session:
June 2019

About CAMP KEMO

Staffed by our physicians, nurses and volunteers, CAMP KEMO allows campers to swim, boat, hike and simply be children. The fun times at CAMP KEMO lay important groundwork for future treatment as participants learn to trust, respect and relate to one another. CAMP KEMO is completely funded by community donations.
