Injury prevention
Trauma is the leading cause of death for all children over the age of one year, and yet most are preventable. With community education we can significantly reduce the number of traumas from specific mechanisms.
We aim to educate families and prevent emergencies through interesting and interactive programs sponsored by Palmetto Health Children’s Hospital:
For more information on the ThinkFirst or Safe Kids Midlands programs, or to schedule a presentation for a class or request representation at a health fair or career day, please email Mabry Gray at Mabry.Gray@PalmettoHealth.org.
